About Nora McLoughlin

Nora is a student of drama, writing and human nature whose preferred method of procrastination is knitting sweaters.  She is author of the plays Girl Shoes, The Book of Numbers, and Fresh, which deal with young women’s issues through monologue and slam poetry. Her plays have been used as learning tools at various high schools, private and public colleges, and non-profit institutions.

Nora has a B.A. in Writing, Literature in Publishing from Emerson College in Boston and most of an M.A. in Ritual Chant and Song from the World Academy of Music and Dance in Limerick, Ireland.   She now lives in Pittsburgh, PA where she is working on her first fantasy novel for young adults.
